NR565 – Advanced Pharmacology Fundamentals

NR565 Midterm Study Guide

Midterm — weeks 1–4, non-cumulative

Where this came fromThe topics here are the school's own — all 67, straight from the official midterm study guide. The cards were written from the assigned Lehne chapters, with the instructor's slides and webinar cited where they add something the book does not. Each card lists its sources. This guide is still being written: only the units marked below have been drafted.

How to use this guide

How to Use This Guide

This guide is being written. Units fill in one at a time; an empty unit is one nobody has drafted yet, not one with nothing on the exam.

Three passes, not one:

For every drug, keep asking: what does it do → why would you reach for it → what goes wrong. Your course leader's own advice is that the exam is at the application level, so memorising the list is not enough.

Sources: the school's own midterm study guide (topics only — it lists what is examinable, never what is true), Lehne's Pharmacotherapeutics for Advanced Practice Nurses 3rd ed. chapters 1–10, 24, 35, 36–39, 41–46 and 59–63, the course's own weekly modules, and the instructor's Clinical Reasoning webinars. Every card says which of those backs it.
